The Belmondo is a block from the old harbor. Be forewarned that you'll have to haul your bags some distance (depends on where you are dropped or park) but once you're there it is worth every bit of the effort. The rooms where spacious, the breakfasts very good and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

7 nights i have stayed in the hotel and everything was perfect. Its in the middle of Chania just 30 sec you can reach the harbour. The people that working in the hotel are very good for all help you need. And the best part was that the hotel is very clean. See you next time

the hotel is right in the middle of chania's old town, with an entrance on the rear of the waterfront of the harbour. ideally one should ask for a room with a balcony in order to be able to enjoy breakfast with a view of chania's harbour...the building is a traditional one, and the furniture in keeping with the style... Stayed in this hotel 7 times now, in 5 different rooms, each with slightly different style, layout and bathroom, some with balconies.. All rooms lovely, some with fabulous views of the old harbour. Continental breakfast is ok, coffee could be hotter and weaker. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will go back again.
