We recently had the misfortune to spend a week at the Kalypso, it is truly the worst hotel that I have ever experienced. We did not choose to stay there but were transferred there by the Elounda Residence Hotel who had overbooked. Have to agree with the other reviewer, this hotel is truly terrible! Our room was cleaned twice in a fortnight, we were not even offered air conditioning (ended up buying a fan),and the noise at night was dreadful.
