These apartments are only a few minutes walk up a pleasant residential road,from the main square and beach in Elounda. They are light and clean with white fluffy towels and a bathmat!(essential for Greek showers). Just got back from Elounda today, we stayed at the Emilia Apartments and I have to say they are really great. They are a 5 minute walk from the main square in Elounda where all the bars and tavernas are, and only 5 minutes from the lovely beach. Have just returned from a last minute break in the Emilia apartments. They are situated very close to the main square and are accessed up a short hill. The transfer coach drops you at the church and you walk up the hill with your luggage- so this might be a problem for anyone with walking difficulties, particularly in the heat!... more
