Simple but clean. Our room had a sink basin and separate showers for men and women were down the hall. No A/C but fan was in room and worked well. This proprietor-run hotel, centrally located, is ideal for transiting and/or short city visit of Heraklion - say two to three days. It is within easy walking distance of the main sites of the city. It is very well priced, for the facilities it offers. Heartily recommend. more

My third visit to the Mirabello. If you don't mind a no-frills approach this is a good choice in Heraklion where central hotels tend to be pricey. Location Central, within a few minutes walk of the ferry port, Bus Station A, shops, the archaeological museum etc. Still has a squat/commune next door but this never seems to cause any issues... more
