The Marin Dream is a contemporary hotel near the Heraklion port and bus station. It was comfortable enough with nice furniture and amenities, but the rooms were small and cramped. I booked the room directly w/ the hotel, very prompt and courteous. I thought breakfast was fine. Location is awesome, esp. if you arrive at the port from another island, you can see the hotel from the port, and walk 8 mins or so to reach it. Right next to bus terminal for travel.
