Take this advice from a Kretan who owns the past 25 years leaves in NY City and whose origins are near by (still have my grandfather's vineyards few kilometers away). If you want to "loose" your self in the serenity and beauty if crete then that is the place for you.
The attention to detail is unbelievable - the cleanliness, the view(s), the size of the rooms, the staff (demetra and stefania especially), everything was perfect. I will definitely go back. Stayed that the family suite - highly recommended
I would only wish for an easier way to parking, faster internet and a bar/restaurant for the days that you changed your mind and want to stay in. all minor
the place is only 16 kilometers from heraclion but very easy access - no ore than 10-15 minutes
