I just visited Crete for the first time and visited Kamari hotel for 5 nights based on favourable internet reviews so thought I'd add my own. We arrived at Heraklion expecting to go to the Cosman hotel, but on arrival were told that it had closed for the winter and we were now staying at the Kamari. We have stayed at this hotel three times in the past 2 years - twice last year within six weeks!!! We love it, Sula and Jordan and their Mum are lovely and make you very welcome. I agree that the rooms are not 100% but I must say that we found them well cleaned and did not have a problem... more
