Truly awful - thank god we were only there for a week!!! Rooms - clean but extremely basic would not class it as 4* accomodation! Food - disgusting - cold and boring - wasnt named so you didnt know what you were eating - like people say there are microwaves but these were as disgusting as the food. We ate... more

Visited this hotel for a last minute break with my sister [our husbands had to work ]and our children. I have been reading the terrible reviews and felt that I had to write my own. The taxi journey to this hotel cost 90 euros, however we expected this. We were pleasantly surprised by our bedroom, it was light airy and... more

Well i dont know where to start, When you first arrive at the hotel and view the reception your initial thoughts are that you have made the right choice, its clean, inviting, and the staff are friendly. Then you awake for breakfast on your first day none of the food available is to the correct temperature hence the 2 microwaves!... more

I read some of these reviews prior to going to this resort and thought how could this be when it is classed as 4* with lots of activities and the pictures look fab! How wrong could I be and everyone who wrote here right! We have just returned from two weeks of hell and straight to A&E as our children... more

I am currently writing a very lengthy letter of complaint about this Hotel to Imperial Holidays who sold us the holiday, Medhotels who act as agents for it and the hotel management but it is far too long and vitriolic to publish here. I would simply say that if you are looking for any sort of quality to your holiday... more

Elyros village has the facilities of a 4* hotel (Beach front location, 4 bars, gym, shops amphitheatre and 2 swimming pools), however there were insufficient staff to run the facility (I counted seven different staff). All the facilities were closed except the pools only one bar was open at any given time and this bar had only one barperson, so be... more

This is the worst All Inclusive Hotel we have stayed in, it was suppose to be 4 star (what a joke) 2* is more like it. The food in the hotel is disgusting, the Hotel Rep in her opening speech said that the food maybe cold but there are two microwaves to warm the food up!! Salads were left uncovered... more

2 weeks at elyros village and a few observations. if you get it cheap enough and can treat it like a self catering holiday go for it. get a car clean linen and towels every day, clean rooms. you will have to pay for the safe and fridge but honestly the fridge stays cold enough so save your money for... more

We've just returned from two weeks all inclusive at the Elyros Village in Ierapetra, southern Crete, which was billed as a four star hotel. Having purchased this online, we didn't know what to expect, as we are aware that standards for stars vary from country to country, but this was beyond a joke. The Ierapetra area itself doesn't have a... more

What can I say about the Elyros Village as there were no other reports on it when I left ( but now there are a couple now) We arrived at the airport at about 0300 hours. We waited for our bags to come up on the conveyor belt which took for ever as apparently there is only one baggage handler... more
