We have just returned from two weeks at the Camari Garden Apartments and would highly recommend staying here. It is out of the way but the bus is easy at 1.50 euro and taxi 8-10 euro is quite reasonable into Rethymnon. Hiring a car would be perfect to get out and about. Two weeks with wife two daughters aged 14 and 11. Very clean complex and extremely nice family that run it. Cant thank them enough helping with two medical dramas and just being so friendly and good fun.
