Hi! I was in crete in july 2002 and it is brilliant . I stayed in the zacharius apts. in piskopiano very very basic and the pool was the size of a bath useless! would recommend tthe mika villas or the frida apts all irish! we went to hersonisis every nite thats the lively part and if your irish you have to go to the blarney stone, o donohoes-tiny place but loads of craic most of the pubs are irish which is great!! definetly would recommend it and as for star beach theres loads to do nd very modern!! temperatures in the 40's!!! food and drink much the same price as home but dirt cheap in the supermarkets!! more
