The only good point about Meltemi Pension is its location, at the end of the village's main road.
When you arrive you are greeted by a nice garden, with the blue tables of the taverna managed by the pension's owners. They live in Athens and spend their summers on the island where they try to manage the pension, but remain very far from minimum hotels' quality standards.
The overall service is very poor and attention to customers' needs is totally absent. Some examples: scheduled boat trips organised by the pension's manager are cancelled without notice, sirtaki music performances are carried out until 3 a.m. right under the guests' rooms, car pick-up service from the beaches is a never-fullfilled promise, etc..
On the other hand, the price charged for rooms (which are below the standard offered by Greek independent room-rentals) are those of a good Greek hotel (60 Euro for a double room in August).
I would not reccomend this pension for a stay in...
