We spent one night here. We weren't expecting much based on reviews, so this hotel exceeded our expectations. It is in Karavostasis, a short walk from the port dock, which makes it convenient to the port but not so much to Folegandros' main attraction, the town of Chora. (The hourly public bus and/or a rental scooter solves that problem.)
The owner checked us in with no fuss (he had waived his normal three night minimum for us). The stairs and hallway floors mirror the streets of Chora with white filling between the grey stones. Our room was rustic, but pleasingly so (dark wood furniture, dark wood balcony shutters that were old but worked), and our deck was on the side of the hotel with a partial sea view. Our bathroom had a shower with no curtain (most other showers we had in Greece also lacked curtains). Overall, a nice and somewhat special place.
Although it is not unique to our hotel, beware the roosters of Folegandros. A comfortable sleeping temperature required...
