We are a family of four and have spent 3 nights at the Azolimnos Bay Hotel in Azolimnos, Syros. We rented an apartment (2 bedrooms and a sitting area), supposedly at the top-end of what the hotel provides - it was just about adequate, if you can put up with the most basic of showers for this time. What was really awful 'though was the breakfast and, to us, this reflected the more general lack of care or interest in the guests' well-being on the part of the owner. Breakfast consisted of cheap cheese and ham slices, each rolled up and held together by a toothpick - it looked like an attempt to discourage guests helping themselves to more than one. Juice (from a carton) was kept behind the counter and brought out only when we asked for it. And there were also a few slices of bread and croissants.
