We stayed at The Ocean View in 2004 and had such a fabulous welcome and great holiday that we returned again in 2005. We stayed in the apparments and were very pleased with the accomodation. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. When we had a problem with the air conditioning an engineer was called out straight away and the problem fixed within 3 hours.
The hotel is situated on the hill leading out of Skala, it was close enough to 'waddle' to after an evening of good food and much ouzo, but far enough from the town that we weren't disturbed. The pool was clean and warm and there were always enough sunbeds. The pool bar served drinks and snacks from early morning until midnight - but in keeping with the ethos of the hotel, this was very quiet.The staff were tremendously welcoming and always on hand to help, or quietly chat with.
