We found this taverna quite by accident whilst exploring the inland areas of Lefkas - we wanted to find a taverna which did not cater just for the tourist and to rent a room where we would not hear much English or German spoken.
The village is high inland, about 20 minutes from the nearest beach. The taverna is freshly decorated and run and owned by the family. The food is all home made by Tina the mum, the ingredients are from Nikos - the father's farm as far as possible and the front of house and overall management is taken care of by Teo the son who does a damn good job. If you want "real" greek food, to eat what has been cooked fresh that day, translated by Teo from his mother as she describes her delicacys. Everything from Moussaka, Rabbit to the best cheese pie you will ever taste......................then the rooms, well they are beautifully appointed, especially by typical Greek standards, with a very large balcony and view to die for - your eyes...
