We had a great time Skala Kalloniis a lovely spot, the beach is resonably clean, the sea is very safe due to the fact that it is a massive bay and the water remains shallow allowing you to walk out for 100 metres and still only be at waste level. The hotel was well situated 20m from the beach and about 350m from the nearest restaurant. it was clean and run by friendly staff. The bathrooms could do with a bit of an update but that did not put me off and I would return. The resort is quiet, and layed back with a nice beach and wonderfully warm shallow... more

This hotel and location is perfect for birding or just enjoying Lesvos. Very near all the main areas and plenty of tavernas etc nearby. Best months for birding are April-May and September/October. more

The hotel was just what we wanted especially as we had a bad experience in Skiathos when we were billed for air conditioning at the end of our holiday for almost £200 !!!! just to let people know.. ive just returned from kalloni ,beautiful resort in every way apart from the dogs! dogs at the hotel, in the resturaunts and the beach. they howled and barked night and day and followed people, they scrapped at the pool side and left their calling cards ,including fleas everywhere. dont get me wrong i love dogs... more
