Surrounded by olive trees Cambos Village is located by the feet of the mountains and only a few minutes walk from the rocky - however beautiful – beach with crystal clear water.
Apart from a few unessential shops alongside the narrow (and only) road leading through the area there’s a handful of simple beach restaurants sharing a magnificent view serving pretty decent meals (both fresh seafood and meat). My first advice is: If you for some reason insist on staying at Cambos Village don’t dine there – go to the beach restaurants.
Cambos Village is a large resort with three pools, a restaurant, a bar, a lousy “playground“ and a quite good “Mini club” where kids can paint, read books, play games etc. Some of the rooms have great terraces with beautiful views against the sea yet the interior is very tacky. Both the rooms and the place in general seem pretty rundown. And one very important thing – if you are travelling with small children make sure you bring your own travel-baby...
