We stayed in Aspres Apartments for a week in the beginning of June. Apartments were well-equipted with cooking utensils & hotplate. Decorating is simple, but clean and was everything we needed. Two small things that could have been better are that there is no kettle, but a little cup-size pot for heating water for tea, and the shower has no curtain so the floor is a bit of a mess after a shower.
We had breakfast on our patio everyday with only the sounds of the waves and birds to accompany us - wonderful!
There's a very well-stocked supermarket just down the road (Proton Supermarket) that sells everything from mugs, to fresh meat and mosquito burners. Best beach is just across from Proton Supermarket. Have driven around the island and Votsalakia is by far the best beach on Samos.
I recommend Nostos restaurant and Mystic Ocean for cocktails - they're great! Reasonably priced,awesome views and great service.
