We stayed here for two nights as a part of the Cosmos tour to Italy& Greece. This was one of the first hotels which offered welcome drinks and snacks. The positives - Proximity to the Ruins in Olympia (5 minute walk from the hotel), Spacious room, fairly elaborate buffet at the hotel restaurant, nice and quiet. The negatives - Air-conditioning... more

We put up at this hotel to see Olympia-the ancient grounds and temples where Olympic games started. Our reception was very warm and welcoming. We were greeted by a pretty hostess who offered us Ouzo (Greek apertiv) , juices and typical Greek snacks. The room was not too big nor too compact. The bathroom had a removable clothes line. It... more

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night as part of our Cosmos tour. This hotel is about 5 minutes to the Olympia Ruins & souvenir shops are just down the street and opened late. Our Buffet was incredible, one of the best in Greece for us! Even the Breakfast Buffet was almost similar to an English Breakfast! All Greek... more

I spent one night here on a recent tour of Greece. There had obviously been some effort made to improve the hotel as the bedroom walls had been recently painted and the bed seemed to have a new matress. This did not make up for the very dirty carpet, torn sheets which did not fit the bed (kingsize bed with... more

We were on a Cosmos Tour and rated this hotel one of the best. We enjoyed exceptional food, both dinner and breakfast, friendly service and a large room with a view of the town. A king size bed, fridge, safe and hairdryer were also welcome extras. more

As part of a Cosmos 21 day tour we (Mum, Dad and Kid) were booked into this hotel for our Olympia stop. We finally received a family room as opposed to a twin share with an extra bed. This hotel seems to be under going a progressive face lift and our room had not been done yet. The carpet was... more

At 70euro including breakfast for a double / twin this was just fantastic. The room was immaculate, spacious and had a little balcony looking over the town hall and toward the site of ancient Olympia. In fact, this is the closest hotel to the site being within 5 minutes walk to the entrance. Our room had a bath! A huge,... more

Only stayed in Olympia for 1 night whilst travelling around Greece. The Olympia Palace is a lovely functional hotel, it has many tour groups passing through. We were a group of 3 lads, stayed in a 4 person family room, 2 single beds + 1 double, which was ideal. All your usual mod cons, cable tv, air con, lovely shower... more

I have recently returned from a tour of Greece and spent a night at the Olympia Palace. I found the hotel and staff to be very pleasant. The rooms are a decent size and the bed was large enough to accomodate 3 people - not what I expected as a single traveller! I had a balcony which faced onto the... more

The lobby, restaurant, and outdoor restaurant area was nice, but the rooms were very basic in comparison. Rooms had wall to wall tile instead of carpet, everything was white and sterile like a hospital. Our room obviously needed and was in the process of having cosmetic repairs done to the wall, tv was absent from the tv stand, and the... more
