This hotel has definitely seen better days - completely in need of an overhaul. Its reception areas are cavernous, but empty. Its rooms were most definitely not 4 star. They were roomy, but opened on to balconies that looked as if they hadn't been cleaned for years - not inviting at all. The bathroom was OK, but had not been... more

This hotel was supposed to be "First Class" but it was anything but! The decor has not been updated in over 30 years. The rooms are sparse, and the beds in this hotel (and all the other Amalia hotels we stayed in on our 3 night tour) were horribly uncomfortable - the worst sleep I experienced anytime I had travelled.... more

This hotel is VERY outdated. It could use a serious remodel. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable meaning they were like concrete. We traveled with a group that stayed at this hotel and the opinion was unanimous in that regard. One person's room even had a broken air conditioner. The food at the hotel also left something to be desired.... more

The title says it all! Why would i probably return? Because i am a hotel lover and this is a great hotel that when gets renovated some day soon will have a far better beds (can't practically get anything but better) but might loose this pure 70s, motel-like, style. The wooden stools in the bar are works of art! more

The rooms were clean and the food was not bad. However, you 'd expect more from a 4-star hotel in terms of amenities and service. The main disadvantage was its location, situated well outside of town. more

My wife and stayed at this 1960's type hotel during our best of Italy and Greece trip and only for one night, well yes and no (See review of Amalia Delphi Hotel). I like the fact the hotel was close to the historic sites, but for the most part, like the other reviews suggest this hotel is outdated and is... more

Seriously, unless like us you have to stay here because you are part of a tour, find another hotel in Olympia. It looks promising as you arrive but this is nothing but a very, very basic hotel. Where they get it is 4 star I do not know! All Amalia hotel rooms are the same in layout. The rooms are... more

We stayed here as part of a tour group who use this chain. From the outside it looked more than acceptable but as others have commented on. Our rooms were outdated and dirty, the lawns and grounds were in need mowing and general tidying. No path down to the pool. Meals ok typical of chain hotel. Disappointing to see similar... more

Our stay here was part of a CHAT tour. The Amalia hotels are affiliated with CHAT. The CHAT tour overall was excellent with a good itinerary and very wonderful guide. It did not feel at all like a herd, but rather like touring with a very knowledgable family friend. The Amalia Olympia is in a whole different, and much lower,... more

The hotel had a nice view from the window. The food was alright (typical of Amalia hotel chain). The beds, as usual, were hard. We had a nice little balcony that I found was enjoyable. No complaints since the hotel was walkable to the shops. more
