We found the Varlamis Apartments via the Spetses Direct web site having for the past twenty years stayed at the Valia Hotel Apartments. We found Varlamis to be very conveniently located for the Town (5 min walk), Aghia Marina beach (10 min walk) and supermarkets (minutes away). The apartments are set in a pretty courtyard, in the traditional Spetsiot style.... more

Have just returned from the Varlamis Apartments on Spetses. We booked all direct. It's an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. There are very cheap flights to Athens and a fast Boat to Spetses from port Piraeus. Taxis take you to the port of Piraeus from Athens airport and cost only around 35 Euros in total for 4 people. Stayed at the above for 6 days in September. Appartments very clean and with nice pool area. Do not offer breakfast but there is a supermarket only a few minutes walk away. We arrived at the end of the season and had the whole appartment block to ourselves. 10 mins stroll into town where you will find a variety of... more
