Stayed for 2 weeks at the ioannis in may/june 2009. we had room 11 - lower floor closest to the bar and it was a studio for 2 people. First of all the location of the apartments and the setting is fantastic - and one of the best we came across on the island. its set back from the road... more

Skiathos is a truly beautiful island, "heaven". The transport is very good, staying in May, there was a bus every 20mins and would only take 20 mins from one end of island to other, a different beach at every stop. Our favourite beach was bus stop 12. Lovely taverna there, great food and reasonable. And must mention the fantastic service... more

The Ioannis Apartments are basic but clean, the same as most other Greek Accomodation BUT these are a little gem because of the location, family and surroundings. We have just returtned from the Ioannis apartments or Green Park as the locals call it having had a wonderful holiday. The pool is surrounded by wooden sun loungers ( very upmarket ) with fabulous padded matresses, large white brollies and access to a truley great bar and taverna. Stayed here for a week last August. The location is excellent, being 2 mins back from the main road so no traffic noise. Beach is about 5 mins walk. The complex is perfectly maintained and looks fantastic at night with outdoor lighting and not-too-loud music. Good bar on-site. We did eat at the taverna on-site once and found the food... more
