Aug 2009 We booked last minute for 4 nights because of its central location but would not recommend this B&B to others! The owner was unfriendly and more interested in getting cash up front rather than making us welcome to her B&B. We would have looked elsewhere except she took payment in full upon check in. The room was in the basement and very dark and not at all 'renovated' as stated in the tourist information B&B guide. We did look at the room prior to paying the owner, but at first glance you don't see some of the grubby detail we later saw.The sheets had a hole in it, and were very dated, bed very uncomfortable. Bathroom was shared with no ventilation. We had to use the same towel for 3 mornings/showers! We only booked Breakfast for one morning, glad we did as breakfast was sparse, and fruit past its 'best' and owner did not mingle with guests or show any interest.
