The manager greeted us upon check in. He is very friendly and accompanied us to our room. The room is nice and clean. For a European price, this is acceptable. We know that the area is in the center so we are prepared to bring our earplugs in case we could here the neighbors music. If you are a light... More

Hotel Ferdinand is situated in an area of Aarhus packed with good restaurants and loads of places to go have a drink. The hotel offers two types of accommodation; apartments and suites. I happened to see both, and stay in their business suite, which basically comprises of a nice bedroom with TV, a huge meeting room (with an even bigger... More

Cool 1 room studio. New, nice and clean. Only potential downside is noice from a bar opposite the hotel. However - my sprouce didn't notice it at all and I used the earplugs available at the room. Eat at the hotel rest. - it's great

This is not so much a reflection of the hotel as of the area where the hotel is located. It is VERY noisy. It feels like you are trying to sleep inside a club. The ear plugs that the management issues help, but do not completely cut out the noise. If you are a light sleeper this is not for... More

Denmark can be quite expensive so when we traveled with our two teenage kids this summer we tried to stay in one hotel room. At the Hotel Ferdinand we booked one room and were skeptical because we were not sure what the accommodations would be like. We were pleasantly surprised. We were in a large 2 bedroom suite that provided... More

The location is great for Aarhus, the room was new & the service spot on. And for Aarhus it was a great prize! If you get a room facing Åboulevarden/the stream bring ear plugs thursday-saturday & dont let it fool you, that the breakfast takes place in one of the citys best restaurants (Brasseri Ferdinand, same building), it's very standard... Stayed at this super cool hotel for a weekend. It is a small hotel but with nice big rooms. The rooms were decorated with fancy furniture and it worked still new (was probably rebuilt in 2009 and therefore can not understand how there can be a review from 2006?). The location is perfect to look at Aarhus both day and... More

The hotel in convenient in the middle of Aarhus' party street, the rooms are large and the price is reasonable. However the breakfast is expensive and not nearly what one would expect of a quality hotel. My recommendation. Sleep there but eat breakfast in one of the 20-30 café's in the same street.

Arhus is a problem town for hotels if you have a travel budget, but Hotel Ferdinand offers a good value alternative. I paid the same price as the Ritz or Scandic, but instead of a small twin room had an enormous and attractive suite with good furniture comfortable beds and a large walk in shower. Downstairs is a good if... More

This hotel is owned by a well known danish footballer, so we figured that it would be a beautiful hotel but there were no reviews on Trip Advisor about this hotel so we took a risk and booked ourselves in. It is situated right on the canal in the hub of Aarhus's cafes, stores and nightlife, the area was bubbling... More
