This hotel is owned by a well known danish footballer, so we figured that it would be a beautiful hotel but there were no reviews on Trip Advisor about this hotel so we took a risk and booked ourselves in.

It is situated right on the canal in the hub of Aarhus's cafes, stores and nightlife, the area was bubbling with activity when we arrived.

We had notified staff that we weren't arriving till midnight and the manager very kindly had organised homemade sandwiches and whipped up a special dessert - absolutely superb service. We couldn't fault his service, he treat us as one would imagine royalty to be treated but that unfortunately was the only positive of this hotel.

We took the lift upstairs which had a rather pungent smell to it complete with old crusty stains. We entered the room and it was rather charming until you took a closer look.
