The location and appearance of Hovborg Kro appealed to us. Unfortunately, on arrival we had some problems with our room. We had booked a family room but were given a double. When we shared our problem with the receptionist we were told that they had received confirmation for two adults and one child (not two). They were willing to provide an extra bed for our six year old but we were told we would have to pay for the fourth bed unless our three year old slept with us! In the end we had to contact our tour operator as we were getting nowhere with the lady at reception. They even told us they didn't have families rooms. Finally we got the room we had booked, which was already made us for four people! The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was tiny. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (plenty for everyone).
