First off, the land the hotel is on overlooks the Baltic, with quick access to the ocean, a nearby forest for hiking, and an easy 8km bike ride to Stege (about 20-30 minutes at a leisurely pace). Our stay in Tohoejgaard was a very nice experience. The guesthouse stands beutifully near Fanefjord Forest and Hvideklint with a nice view to The Baltic Sea. Loveley room, looking out over the sea, watching the hares in the fields. We used Tohoejgaard as a cyclingbase and it proved an excellent choice - mile upon mile of rolling countryside and almost no traffic. A little gem overlooking the sea. Christine and Allan made our stay at their home so welcomming. We had a wonderful stay in Tohøjgaard!! The room was very cosy and treatment could not be more friendly. The house is in an exceptionally location, although a bit far from Stege. However, the distance is OK by bike and the landscape is really beautiful. We hope to come back whenever we have the chance to go again to Moen.... more
