As hotels in the capital of Copenhagen are the most expensive in the northern capitals of Europe (Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki) we decided to book a B&B. To our surprise Copenhagen does hardly have any B&B’s. You can rent a room, nearly all of them without breakfast, although they call it a B&B. This stands also for this B&B, which is extremely well situated. Nearly all museums are in the neighbourhood; the very pleasant city centre is within 600 mtrs.; the pitch with the free bikes within 200 mtrs.; Tivoli, the train and bus station within 600 mtrs., as is the longest shopping street of Europe. The apartment is on the 4th. floor (eight staircases) and there is no elevator, so it is not available for physically restricted people. There is no need to use the very well functioning public transport as long as you stay in the city centre. Every 10 min. there leaves a train from the airport to Copenhagen’s central station (3 stops) at DKK 31,50.
