Very convenient for the central station (direct line to the airport every ten minutes), the buses and S-Tog. The hotel is a a period piece of Arne Jacobsen design, but our room was clean, well fitted, spacious and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and the service generally was excellent. We had dinner one... more

We stayed over Easter weekend in a standard room. The hotel is centrally located and about a 3 mins walk from the Central Station. We found this particularly good as we opted to take the train from the airport to the city centre. The room was pretty big with a very good view of the tivoli gardens. The windows we... more

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and the hotel is excellent. Booked a club room and the view of the city from the bedroom was unreal. Breakfast was faultless and the hotel itself was really nice although the modern decor may not be to everyones taste. I can't see how people found fault with this hotel. more

Have stayed at other Radisson hotels and this location didn't compare particularly well. Very expensive (£200 per night - to be fair, this is reflective of Copenhagen as a whole), breakfast not included for a standard room and nothing special about room itself. On the positive side, good central location, nice views of the city from room, clean and stylish... more

Have just returned from a 4 night break at the Radisson and found it to be a good choice. It is in an excellent location - only a two minute stroll from the railway station. Very easy to get from the Airport and only DK30 per person each way. Friends have told me that a taxi from the Airport to... more

Having been in Copenhagen many times (my mother comes from Copenhagen) I have always known about this hotel. I have however always considered it a bit out of my reach financially. My family had a weekend break in Copenhagen March 2008 and we were looking for a hotel that could accommodate us at a reasonable price. To my surprise the... more

For our first visit to Copenhagen we chose the Royal because it was centrally located, i.e. close to the railway station (a short walk away). You can get the train direct from the Airport, and it's relatively inexpensive The city is quite compact with most of the tourist sights being easily accessible on foot We didn't take any meals in... more

We stayed for five nights over new year 2007/08 in a standard double room. Having previously had an excellent experience at the SAS Royal, we left somewhat disappointed this time. The rooms still have the best views in Copenhagen, and the Arne Jacobsen touch is what it is. Unfortunately, it seems that management of the Royal has grown complacent -... more

I stayed for 3 nights at Royal Hotel with my boyfriend in early November and I cannot say one bad word about it. The hotel is well-located, just opposite the Tivoli Gardens and let me tell you what a view during the night. The Central Train station is just a few steps from the hotel (just 15 min. ride from... more

Had a chance for a weekend stay in Copenhagen. Room was 20 stories up, so had a nice view. Bed was ok, room was clean but interior a bit dated. TV was very small, as was the room. Room was ok, but nothing special at all. Overall an average experience. The real reason I would not stay here again is... more

Thank you very much for taking your valuable time and share with others your experience in another of the Radisson SAS Hotels in Copenhagen. We are afraid that there must be a mix with the different properties we have in Copenhagen as the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is right in the city centrer opposite of the Tivoli Garden. We thank...
