Clean and comfortable but quite noisy. I wasn't paying so can't comment on value. They didn't have a secure room to put your luggage in which was a bit odd. more

I think the previous review was for a different hotel as the Hotel City is in a great location! Just a couple minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in the Nyhaven area, but on a quiet side street. Our room at the hotel was a relatively large room with 2 twins together to make a double bed- and... more

I can't remember a great deal as this was a while ago. Breakfast was fine. Only changed bedsheets once in the weekd despite us reporting a small bloodstain on them. Very spacious. Bit of a way to get into the centre. Copenhagen is very expensive to eat in. If you take this hotel, eat locally as its cheaper more

Had a last minute trip to Copenhagen in June and didn't want to break the bank but needed to get a good night's sleep as I had a job interview the next day. This hotel is in a great location - just 3 mins avay from the pedestrian area and Nyhavn - but on a really quiet street so you... more

We stayed on the fifth floor (later addition) in a reasonably sized, light, airy double room. Excellent location, stylish lobby, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, free wifi connection. Most definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Lack of air conditioning was difficult when temperatures were so high but doubt if any or many city centre 3* hotels in... more

I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights with a group. We had a great time. The staff was really friendly and helpfull in any ways. The breakfast was the best - a huge buffet. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Most hotel rooms in Copenhagen are small since it is old buildings. The location is absolutely perfect... more

I stayed here with my husband and our friend in March 2006. We had a reasonable sized room (although our friends room was quite small)on the second floor. My only complaint was that the bathroom was a bit small but other than that we had a very pleasent stay. Our room was very clean and we were provided with fresh... more

We vistited Copenhagen in august 2005. We stayed in room 211 at the City Hotel. The location is great, close to Nyhaven. The room itself is small. The furniture seems outdated and the bathroom is very crowded. If you sit on the toilet, your head is almost in the washbowl. The shower is triangular of shape and therefore most of... more

I stayed two nigths at this hotel with my housband and it is one of the worst Western Hotel we have ever stayed on ! We were so dissapponted. Especially since its a very expensive hotel to stay in. This is quite shame at $186 a night for a standart room. Definitely not worth the price! The bed isn't comfortable... more

Had originally booked into the Palace Hotel but cancelled after reading negative reviews;am very glad we made the switch. Booked two adjoining twin bedded rooms on the first floor (adult and young child in each room) on a 4 night stay. The location of the hotel is simply superb, close to a good selection of restaurants in Nyhavn, with Christenshaven a short... more
