A hop, skip and a jump away from Strøget, the main walking street of Copenhagen, h27 is a chic hotel in downtown Copenhagen. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, you name it, we got it. The social scene of the city surrounds the hotel at every corner you turn. Central Copenhagen also entails history and culture, meaning all main attractions are our neighbours and just minutes away from our doors: City Hall, Glyptoteket, Tivoli Gardens, The National Museum to name a few. The newly renovated design lobby sets the tone for a stylish stay, and the green oasis-like Garden Bar gives access to an outdoor experience hidden away from the hustle & bustle of the downtown area.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the limited space to put things in your room. I understand at the price it’s not going to be a penthouse and small hotel rooms are fine. The bed is pretty small but super comfy, It’s clean, WiFi ifs great and you can cast to the TV in the room. However there is a bedside table about 12inch x 12inch on one side of the bed and that’s it. A shelf to put some toiletries or items would be helpful otherwise you’re accessing everything out of your suitcase on the floor. Very good hotel you won’t regret staying here.

Hotel's Favourite
I’ve just my first of five nights here and already love this place. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, the pillows plumped, the place is clean and the staff friendly and helpful, though the very deep bath/shower did take a little getting used to. It also doesn’t have A/C but openable windows so immediately it scores high with me, I’d much rather have fresh air and allows me to cool the room to a temperature I’m more comfortable with. Location wise it’s handy for so many attractions and really easy to get to on the Metro. My only quibble is to do with location and something the hotel can’t control and that is the clocktower I can see from my window, the midnight chime is pretty full on and did wake me up, but thanks to the lovely bed I managed to fall back asleep shortly afterwards.

Myself my husband and my sister and brother in law stayed here for a long weekend break, we both booked king rooms as we had read reviews about how small the rooms were. We were both very happy with our chosen rooms, modern and very clean lovely comfortable bed. The location is great very close to Tivoli. Staff were very polite and friendly, we didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but the bar toilets and lobby areas were very good. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend

Awful and a con! Single room feels more like a Hostel. The bed looks like a double that has had the bottom half removed. Budget Hotel but not budget price. I would advise anyone staying in the single room to view it before parting with your money as no refund is possible once your payment has been taken. Great position but did not want to come back to this place after a long day out.

Dear AnnMaree, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We have many different room types at the hotel, so perhaps a higher category would have been better for you when you did the booking. We are sorry that we where not the right fit for you for your time in Copenhagen. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and we do our best to give our guests the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have indeed grown so fond of. Sincerely, Karen Henneberg, Hotel Manager, and the entire team at Motel One Copenhagen

When I checked in the room was cold, I turned up heat to high. After being gone 5 hours I returned to the same cold room. I brought it to their attention and they came to check it out. They agreed that my heater wasn’t working but about 10%…just warm to the touch. She adjusted it again and said in 30 minutes come down for new room if it isn’t warm. No improvement so I went to see about getting another room. When I got to front desk she said I could not have another room because the entire hotel was having same issue. It was zero Celsius outside and very cold in my room. There is no TV service in the hotel room, only the ability to connect your phone to the TV. They are doing construction on the outside in the courtyard so my only window was blocked by scaffolding and netting or plastic cover so I couldn’t see out. It was a very claustrophobic feeling. I cxld my 2nd night and left in the morning. A miserable stay … never again !

Currently staying here and cannot recommend enough. The reception staff are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is absolutely gorgeous and plentiful, Daniel the chef greets guests at table with warm pastries, never experienced that before. The interior design in lounge is tasteful and comfortable and perfect to chill out. We had a king sized room and it’s a decent size. 5 minute walk from the metro. Stay here!

Top Hotel that I have no hesitations recommending. It's proximity to the central part of Copenhagen is delightful. Enabling quick access to the train network and the main walking street. The reception / bar Cafe is open and open and open. The staff ever willing to assist in anyway. The blues bar up the street is a buzz with some of the best live music I've heard in ages. Be sure to check out MOJO Blues Bar.

Having enjoyed Motelone in Aachen, happily booked into sister/ chain in Copenhagen..good location especially for Tivoli. Lovely carilion from local church/ town hall.? However the beds in both rooms were rubbish, very soft with cheap toppers. ( 410 and 411). Musak in the bar each night was awful too. There wasn't a chair in either room .. did they give us the worst rooms in hotel?? So to read a book had to sit in the bar or lie on the bed. The hotel WiFi was intermittent. My room at the front was over a bar/ nightclub, so Friday night was impossible to get any sleep. Both music and exuberant / inconsiderate screaming and whistling young people. Should advise visitors that the hotel is located in a busy night life area andso not suited for folks who might be booking a bedroom to actually sleep in, or at least invest in some better sound proofing. Sleep was not an option.

TINY room, the bed wasn’t even a full size double which meant we barely slept our entire weekend, the noise from the front of the hotel was horrendous and the church bells chime more than twice an hour… when our room was ‘cleaned’ well it wasn’t! The bed wasn’t made properly, the towels were piled on top of the toilet for some strange reason and the surfaces were not wiped down. No telephone in the room to contact reception, no kettle. Extremely disappointing for over £200 a night - would absolutely not recommend this hotel, the one and only plus was the central location.

Dear Cally-Jo, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We offer extensive information regarding rooms and bed size upon booking, making sure that our guests has the chance to select the right room type for them, perhaps you missed this information? Our prime inner-city location comes with the sounds of the city, this cannot be avoided, but you can as a guests ask if a room to our backside is available, this is a bit more quiet. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short.
