My room was really, really nice. The hotel is located about three blocks from the train station, meaning I could walk with my luggage, which was great. The hotel is just a short walk from everything in the city. There's a subway/train stop just across the street. There are restaurants and sights very close by (Tivoli Gardens is two blocks... more

I stayed here for one night, and I think if I was staying any longer I would have changed hotels. I've heard that hotel standards are fairly low across Copenhagen, and that would seem to be the case, since this hotel seems to be on the higher end and was certainly not cheap. I arrived late at night, and it... more

I normally don't stay at pricey hotels, such as the Imperial Hotel in Copenhagen, but when I do, I expect to get my money's worth. That also happened here - for the most part. First of all, I must say I chose one of their "allergy rooms". Considering this is in Denmark (where smoking is not entirely outlawed just yet),... more

A really good value hotel (booked via expedia) in the heart of the hotel-area of the City. We found this hotel a little cold in terms of service, the hotel staff were neither welcoming nor friendly, although the restaurant and bar team were the opposite! We had a twin room, very large with a lounge area divided from the sleeping... more

The Imperial hotel was very average. I have heard that Copenhagen hotels are not all that great which is such a shame because it is one of my all time favourite cities. My main complaint is that despite having A/C, our room was unbearably warm. I just found the whole stay there very underwhelming. When I went back to Copenhagen... more

I stayed at Imperial hotel in Copenhagen for three nights in October with my 12-year old son. Overall, the stay was pleasant. I had read some not so nice comments about the hotel,so I booked a superior double room with extra space for an additional bed. We arrived the hotel early and also had a late ckeck-out at no extra... more

Check the rates on this hotel versus 2-star hotels. I stayed here for just a few dollars more than 2-star hotels, and the room was very nice. The hotel is just two blocks away from the main train station and from Tivoli Gardens. The restaurant is expensive, but you won't need it. My only complaint was that the bathroom/shower were... more

We have just returned from the Hotel Imperial in Copenhagen. We were very dissappointed with the hotel. The room was not much bigger than a broom cupboard. There was hardly any storage space for our luggage. The shelves were not even big enough to lay out a folded shirt the size that you would get if your had just bought... more

The staff are excellent - very well trained and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast buffet is excellent, as is the food in the restaurant, with a wide variety. Our room was very nice, spotlessly clean and had a great bed. It could have done with a mirror in the bedroom (rather than just in the bathroom) but... more

Stayed here just for one night. Try and get a room on the top floor - I was in 608 and the view is pretty good from the large balcony. Comfortable bed, nice seating area, mini bar, ironing board, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, and 2 bathrooms!! Apparently when the rooms were refurbished 2 smaller rooms were converted... more
