Clean, comfortable, great central location, fair price and the best breakfast! We stayed for two nights and found the location to be perfect - we could walk with our luggage to and from the Train station and was in walking distance to all the sites in Copenhagen. Our room was small and old but it was clean and quiet. Everything... more

Before I went on my trip, I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and was perturbed to read about it being more of a 2 star place. When I got there, I was very surprised. The room had been recently renovated to a good standard, the breakfast was very good and the location very convenient. Either I was lucky with the... more

Room 425 -Cons- I've been in rooms as small, but never paid as much. Shower was just hanging on the bathroom wall and you pull the shower curtain around so the floor gets soaked. One small pillow about the size of a table napkin. Nothing but a bedspread for cover. No convenient electric outlets. Food on tray was left in... more

Outside the Ascot's entrance there is a plaque that gives it 4 stars. I was tempted to scratch off half of them. Your first impression from the main lobby might be good: it's a nice, older place, and the front desk service is professional. But once you get up to your room, you may wonder if you've been transported into... more

We originally booked 2 rooms at a reasonable price for a family trip and they provided an apartment set-up at no additional charge (this was not the Ascot Apartments which is around the corner). Note - I understand that these were recently renovated and thus, may not represent the rest of the hotel. The Ascot is central - on the... more

If there was a redeeming feature to this hotel, I failed to find it. It is a dump. I certainly won't be staying there ever again. Problems started getting out of the (tiny) lift to find my room - to find myself in a lobby area with stairs and some doors but no hint of where the rooms were. Turned... more

This hotel is certainly not 4 star accommodation. At best I would rate it a 2 star hotel and even there I'm being generous. On the plus side, the free wireless internet access provided in all rooms was a sinch to get running and worked floorlessly throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately there just weren't enough of... more

The hotel is very close to the central station and walking distance to all the sights of the city. The room was clean and well decorated, although a little on the small side. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, hot stuff and drinks. The hotel bar was a cosy place to start off... more

The hotel is in an excellent location. We arrived by train from airport to main station, the hotel was minutes walk from station , but also just minutes from all the main tourist sites. I was worried about booking this hotel after reading trip adviser, so i booked a superior double and asked for a quiet room that looked like... more

Stayed here for two nights on a deal which included entry to the Tivoli. We were given a moderate sized twin bedded room (as requested) at the back of the hotel, which was very quiet. The bathroom was large. Breakfast was good. The staff were helpful and the location was very good. Overall a pleasant stay. more
