Hotel rooms are extremely warm in the summer no AC, you have to have the window open to get decent sleeping temperatures. They put in too warm bed sheets for the season. In winter time its the opposite they put in car heaters to keep the rooms warm. The toilet in the room did not work, the receptionist fetched a... more

Excellent location, close to the palace, Nyhaven, The Little Mermaid and if you are leaving on a cruise. The hotel faces the street, ask for a room facing the water for a peaceful experience and you can see the opera house. It has all the amenities of a fine hotel and the rooms are well appointed. Phone the hotel direct... more

Like other review for some reason the rooms smell especially at night,. They might, as in our case, sort it out during the day but it comes back at night. Great location lots of convention type traffic. Very small rooms but nicely decorated. more

I am a busy business man and I travel a lot. I have stayed all over the world and have experienced a lot of different styles of hotels and service. But I most admit, that staying at the Admiral Hotel, was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The hotel was simply amazing, to live in a building... more

The location is just great, with the Nyhavn just around the corner. Nice rustic and robust interior design hidden in this old wearhouse. Great breakfast! However, I read an review in Swedish that they wouldn't compensate a family when the warm water was gone during the hole stay due to a leak!!! No showers! That is so bad service. Was... more

Good price seems to be relative in Copenhagen where everything felt expensive to us -- we found a good deal on this place via Hotels.com but the average price listed other places was much higher. Check-in was fast and very friendly. The hotel employee inquired about our dinner plans without asking and gave good advice and directions. Elevators are modern... more

I recently stayed at the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen during a brief business visit (3 nights) and I was delighted with its location and wonderful atmosphere. The rooms which I understood had recently been upgraded had everything a busy and tired business person could ask for and the flat screen TV was awesome as was the view from my room... more

We stayed at the Admiral for a week prior to leaving on a Baltic cruise. It was the perfect location - very centrally located and a wonderful view of the Opera house. It was very easy to get around town and was mostly quiet, except at bar closing time! The Salt resturant and bar in the hotel were wonderful, friendly... more

The Admiral Hotel Copenhagen is located several blocks beyond the Nyhavn Harbor on the periphery of central Copenhagen. The hotel, located in a historic converted warehouse is filled with weathered wood, indirect lighting, and tapestries taht reflect the nauticla heritage of the city. Check-in was time consuming; too few staff to cope with the business travelers crowding the lobby. There... more
