A really good standard hotel with excellent location, superb breakfast, and interesting if not big bedrooms. Excellent place to explore copenhagen from. more
It was a good location on the waterfront. An old building which has been renovated. There are fabulous wooden beams throughout, which were impressive. The bar and restaurant were nice and modern amongst the old beams. The room was tiny, there was a bed, a table and chair and a wardrobe. The room was at the rear of the hotel... more
Highly recommended. Very good rooms. Huge choice for breakfast and meals. Great location - just on the seafront opposite the new Copenhagen Opera House and next to the Amalienborg palace and Little Mermaid. The only slight annoyance are the wooden beams that are simply all over the place and inside the rooms - but I guess that's part of the... more
I stayed at the Admiral twice last year and enjoyed it both times. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bed was good, and the Internet service was excellent. The hotel is located in a great area. Its scenic, relatively central, and not very noisy. On one stay I had a view over the harbor and could see the Opera... more
Wasn’t sure about this hotel given the mixed reviews, however I’m really glad we stayed here. The room was very clean and modern. Location wise, I think it was pretty good with a short walk to restaurants for dinner. Was a little pricey but isn’t everything in Denmark. I would stay here again. more
6 of us stayed at this hotel last weekend. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance from everywhere. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very nice, and the beams in the rooms were a very nice effect! The beds were so comfortable. I would highly recommend this... more
I went with Top Customers to the Hotel Admiral, to have a Meeting there. I'm very disappointed about the unfelxibility of the stuff, they are incompetent and rude. It was not possible to order "à la carte" for 10 people and this was explicit requested at the reservation, then we get a Menu that nobody liked it. As well at... more
The hotel is situated in pretty much the centre of Copenhagen, a 5 minute walk to Nyhavn, probably the most populair street in Copenhagen. But the hotel itself is not worth the money. Our room was on the noisy side, which means a street which makes it impossible to sleep after 7:00. We stayed here three nights. I had to... more
I am myself from Denmark and now live abroad and thought I would try to stay at the Admiral which is in a great location downtown. However, I must say I was terribly disappointed. Several things: 1) The front desk was completely incompetent and rude (I had reserved a Junior Suite and they gave me a normal room. I immediatly... more
The location of the hotel is so good, on the quay. It is situated not far from the famous places of Copenhagen: Nyhavn, Amalienborg palace, the Little Mermaid, Kongens Nytorv Square. It is opened a beautiful view on the building of "New Opera" from the hotel. Also it is in the vicinity of the metro (underground station Kongens Nytorv -... more
