The hotel is in a great location just a stones throw from central station and within easy walk of the city centre. Our room overlooked the Tivoli gardens. The hotel is rather beautiful, and in a good location being close to the station and Tivoli. But I will never stay there again. I think the Hotel used to be part of the Accor/Sofitel chain, but is now owned by an another company, “Profil”. My main bugbear is with the air conditioning/heating units. The room was spacious and made you feel at home, great double bed and nice bathroom. Even a small balcony one could step out on. Nice glass elevator built in 1914. Great location. The Library Bar is also great if somewhat expensive. Nice breakfast and nice staff. We will most definately stay at the Plaza again. more

After a nightmare at the Kong Frederik, I moved over here. They were accomodating, gave me a jr. suite and a complimentary drink in the bar. The bar is beautiful! This is an average hotel, which could use an update to the rooms and halls.
