This hotel is situated within reach of all Copenhagen's sites and close to some good restaurants. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and our room was small but well equipped. We booked a twin room, but were disappointed that my Mother and I were expected to separate the double bed into two ourselves! (the hotel barman did it... more

We stayed at this hotel with our 8 month old son for one night and thought it was great. The room was clean, nice and quite large. The promised view of the nearby canal was great and breakfast was good. The hotel arranged a crib for our son without any extra charge. more

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and honestly I thought it was wonderful, but I must agree with some of the others that during the morning it does become rather noisy. The rooms are a little on the small side, however still fine for two people. The bathroom is spacious, with a big bath tub/shower combo. The location... more

Excellently situated hotel, facing the waters of city canals. Just a five minute walk away from the bustling center, full of people, restaurants, shops and entertainment. Helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast could offer a wider selection, but it had all the usual selection of cereals, cheese, pastry and eggs. Been there for 4 days on a business trip. Can't say anything... more

Very well located on the waterfront in a quiet area while close to all the main attractions. Clean modern decor. The room was comfortable but a little on the small side. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer, a little bland. The good sized bathroom was generally clean but there was some untreated mould and the tap needed maintenance.... more

I can honestly say that I was very disappointed in my last and final stay.....I had stayed in 4-06 and had a wonderful experience with the locale, hotel and staff. Two years later....a very different story.......was given a room that overlooked an alley, trash trucks dumping dumpsters at 5:30am...exceeding noisy...... I guess I was assigned this room because I asked... more

I booked two standard rooms at The Strand, a twin and a triple for two nights. The triple room, which I think was a superior room, was on the front of the hotel with lovely view over the waterfont. A decent size with a sofa, fabulous bathroom with twin washbasins, tea/coffee facilities and the comfiest beds I've come across in... more

I stayed at the Strand for one night on business. I was upgraded to a junior suite because they had run out of single rooms, so it was reasonably spacious, but not the sort of size I would expect from a suite. The room looked out onto the waterfront, which was lovely. The hotel's communal areas were fine, and breakfast... more

I stayed three nights funded on company expenses, so I knew that this was not going to be an extravagant choice of hotel. The upside:- The location is great, easy walking distances to the trendy areas of Copenhagen. The staff were friendly. The hotel was warm and clean. The down side:- My room (1102) was very, very, small and noisy.... more

Stayed at the Copenhagen Strand for 2 nights and was impressed overall. It's always a good sign when the lobby area is immaculate and clean! The bedrooms admittedly were very small and their was little room to move but they were clean. The bathroom was very nice, all black marble with a lovely power shower and towels changed daily. The... more
