Comfort Hotel Vesterbro has a prime location in Copenhagen's cool Vesterbro district, just 500 metres from Copenhagen Central Station. The city's many bars, restaurants and shops are just a stone's throw from the hotel. And WiFi access is completely free of charge. The coolest neighbourhood in Copenhagen Comfort Hotel Vesterbro is on Vesterbrogade, in the ultra hip Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. Over the past few years, this area has been transformed from run-down 1960s complexes to some of the nicest streets in the capital. The area is now brimming with restaurants, bars, piazzas with al fresco dining and the coolest shopping in Copenhagen. Ultra hip Kødbyen Copenhagen's very own Meatpacking District, Kødbyen, has evicted the butchers and replaced their old shops with innovative galleries, creative art studios, organic cafés and popular clubs. But if you fancy something a little more traditional, tuck into Danish sausages and pastries, or visit popular classics, like tivoli.

Overall, I liked the place. The breakfast is good and the location is excellent. Rooms are adequate, if not exciting. It worked for us. THere is a Lidl next door. It is close to Tivoli and is adjacent to the train station. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel, and even better after coming renovation that is planned soon next year. Close to the city centre! Walking distance to almost everything. Good shop just around the corner and you can buy any groceries if you like to bring with you! Especially if you want to have or bring any drinks for a walk and have a pick-nick by the canal, 20min walk or 6-7 min cycling. Great breakfast!! If some issues accrue, talk to Lars. Thanks again Lars for your service! 😉👍

The rooms are like prison cell and so does the corridor. It's make you feel clostrophobic and the bathroom door literally opens to the bed. Gloomy, dark room with very little or no amenities( hygiene is a big issue as the rooms aren't cleared every day nor does they change the linen or towels). The hotel is like a roadside motel, doesn't even deserve single star. Location is the only plus point, however the amount of money they charge per night I would say it's ZERO value for money. Pick up this hotel only if you want to ruin your vacation.

Chose this hotel primarily for its location and cost this being a last minute and unplanned trip so budget was a consideration. The location is very good - about 5 minutes from the main station and it is easy walking to the centre. We were expecting a no frills hotel at the cost but were overall pleasantly surprised and it represented good value for money given Copenhagen is not cheap. The room was a good size but I would advise asking for a room that does not overlook the Main Street. Despite the cold we like our window open. Street noise is to be expected but For 3 mornings out of 4 we were woken around 4.30 am by builders chucking stuff into skips immediately below our window. Even closed this would have been very noisy As mentioned elsewhere rooms are cleaned every 4 days but that is not really a problem. I liked the fact rubbish bins were split to enable in room recycling. Anything that needs replenishing can be requested at reception. Check in and out is by machine but there are staff at the reception/bar if help is needed. They were very friendly and helpful. The public areas are large with a big atrium in which breakfast can also be eaten. Here there is table tennis and other games. WiFi worked well. There is a gym on site. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. There was a vegan corner and food for those with lactose intolerances. A time ticket must be obtained on check in but from 9 on the breakfast room was quiet. Prior to that it was very busy and we were told the tickets were a reminder for us and not really used to actively manage the sitting. We had no problem getting a place to sit however especially given the availability of the large atrium. My only niggle was the butter and the fact guests spread it on their bread at the buffet causing blockages and queues . So much more sensible just to put a bit on your plate and spread at your table but there are no members of staff around to manage that area. They are clearing away ( though guests meant to clear their own trays). I would have liked a kettle and coffee in the room or access to a free coffee machine in the public area. The cost of a cup of coffee from reception which was only half filled was expensive. Buy and bring in from a local coffee shop. Overall , a comfortable stay for the cost. Represented good value and would definitely go again for a no frills stay.

Wasn’t sure what to expect given the mixed reviews, however, chose the hotel upon closeness to centre and Tivoli. We were greeted at check in by a friendly member of staff, breakfast time options explained and arranged, keycards and room info given. The room was clean, modern as we’d hoped, body wash/shampoo and hair dryer in bathroom. We found the beds comfortable, mattress are thin and do slide over the bed but it didn’t affect anything just put them back in the morning or after sitting on bed etc. We was in room 350 and we did experience a fair bit of voices from downstairs and loud music that went on til late, however, very tired and we slept through it after the initial 30 mins. I wouldn’t say the rooms are soundproof or if they are not like others I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was a good varied selection from cold meats to cooked eggs, potatoes, chicken sausages, fruits, cereals, hard boiled eggs and breads of many types, definitely something for everyone I would’ve thought unless very picky! We arrived to only a handful of people in there but within 15 mins there was around 50 people but still managed well. All the staff we spoke with were very pleasant.

Great central location with nice size rooms. Even if you need to get a time slot for breakfast in advance it got rather crowded and a bit unorganized. Good options on food however, and most important someplace to sit. Good value for the money.

We understood that for the price it was a bit a no frills hotel. But we would have liked a kettle in the room and for the room to have been cleaned once in our 3 night stay, every 4th night seems a bit to infrequent. The room felt like it needed a fresh coat of paint to freshen it up. The location was gods though, for the price and the bed was really comfortable.

We visited during a quiet period for the hotel in October. The poor Danish reception guy had been trained to sell upgrades. We were told one of our two booked rooms was unavailable. OK we could have an upgrade room for an extra £50 per night. We took the upgrade, the room smelt foul, after 20 mins the maintenance guy came to repair the toilet, he was unble to do it. We returned to reception, miraculously our original room was now available. We moved rooms and asked for our pre payed upgrade fee to be returned. No doing its company policy not to refund. We were then offered an alternative upgraded room! We moved again.....

Hey there H4951QPkveninr, We just wanted to say thanks for sharing your thoughts with us – your feedback is super important! At our place, we always try to make sure you're comfy. If the room you originally booked isn't ready when you arrive, we'll offer you an upgrade. We're sorry the room wasn't what you expected, but it's awesome to hear that my co-worker hooked you up with another one. Our cleaning crew does their thing during the day, and when rooms are good to go depends on when the previous guests check out. Sometimes people check out late, and that can mean not all the rooms are ready before 3 PM. Sorry again for the room shuffle, but we're stoked it all worked out, and you ended up with a room that made you happy. Have a fantastic weekend! Warm regards, Mira - Front Office Manager

Comfort Hotel Vesterbro in Copenhagen is located a 5-minute walk from the main train station and a 15-minute train ride from Copenhagen Airport, CPH. The hotel is at the centre of the city and you have shopping and restaurants right outside the hotel, and main attractions such as Tivoli only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is in part newly refurbished and has a modern and practical style. There is a bar and lobby on the ground floor, which also includes the breakfast area. On the first floor is a nice courtyard area and a nice size gym. The rooms are a good size and well planned. Overall, it is a great hotel at the heart of the city.

If you are on vacation, low pulse, no schedule, no expectations, this hotel is perfectly fine. Clean, small rooms made for those who explore the city. I have written favourably about this hotel a few years back. If you are on a business trip and expect your top tier status with Strawberry would work you, you’re in for a bad ride. Note to self: There’s always a season for strawberries. Still some come with mold on them. This property was one of the rotten ones. Briefly: arrived early after a transatlantic flight. Emailed the hotel the day before letting them know of my itinerary and wish to access room earlier than the 3pm check-in time due to early arrival at the airport. Got a reply that this was part of my status benefit, if rooms were available. I offered to pay extra as I would be there early, like 9am. When arriving early, I was told they could take care of my luggage but that I had to wait untill 3pm for check-in. Online it showed rooms still available, and I suggested I could make another booking, but the manager-on-duty said it was incorrect because all rooms were dirty after the previous night’s late check-out; hence no check-in before 3pm. I asked if they could call me if rooms were available earlier, but that was not an option. 3pm it was. Glad to see the hotel is busy, but I had higher expectations given platinum status. For business travel, this hotel is no longer on my list. Could be Comfort Vesterbro prefers targetting other groups of travelers anyway. I walked over to Radisson. They said they didn’t have rooms ready either, but asked me to wait while they elevated the issue. I could leave my luggage, wait for a phone call, or remain in the lobby. Within 20 minutes, having one membership tier lower than with Strawberry, they had a room for me with early check-in, without fee, at 9:30am. And price wise: about 100 Danish kroner more than the early-booking rate with Strawberry. It’s a no-brainer where I would return next.

Dear Great_Squasher. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to see that you were not happy at your last visit. We are very happy to say, that we have had a nice and busy summer this year. Sometimes our guests don't check out until 12 and our lovely housekeeping staff needs time to prepare the rooms for our new guests. On busy days this means that even though rooms are available online, they are not ready before the check in time at 15:00. We hope you will visit us in the future and wish you a great day.
