This is a grant old european hotel with large rooms. It is located in the "center" of town and is only a short walk to most attractions. It is only a block from the Nyhavn harbor and all its nice restaurants and about a ten minute walk to the Tivoli Garden area. more

The latest reviews here on tripadvisor gives a wrong picture of D'Angleterre. Many of their rooms is old and needs renovation. I think many on this site have stayed in rooms like that. When we arrived at this extremely overpriced place they call a hotel, we were "welcomed" by the most rude and unorganized staff ever. Our rooms were not ready and we had to wait for almost six hours! This was the first but also the very last time that we will ever stay here again! more
