The Hotel Bethel is a gem. It is centrally located on the Nyhavn Canal. You can easily walk to numerous attractions and shopping. Our room was simple but clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom had a heated floor - not sure if that was the heater effect in the bathroom or actual floor heater but who cares! Our room overlooked... more

I tried to find a central and cheap place to stay in copenhagen for 4 days due to work and naturally trip advisor was where i came to search. It wasn't long b4 i emailed the hotel for reservation. I didn't realize how close it was to every tourist attraction and the train was only 5 min walking distance away.... more

I loved this hotel. It was small, specklessly clean and very friendly. The position in Nyhavn is about as perfect as you can get. We walked to the Tivoli gardens which took about 15 minutes. It was a little noisy however, I know this can not be avoided as it is situated in a very popular visitor area. Earplugs travel... more

We stayed for 2 weekend nights, which turned out to be a public holiday weekend for the Danish people. The hotel is in a superb location right on Nyhavn, with its canal and busy cafés, bars and restaurants. Two minutes took us to city tour buses and boats and one more minute saw us in the pedestrianised area that runs... more

I just got from Hotel Bethel a couple of days ago and would definitely recommend it! The hotel is very central...10 min walk to Stroget, 10 min walk to Rosenborg Castle, 12 min walk to the round tower and is based on Nyhavn Harbour where you can get the DFDS Canal tours to sights such as the Little Mermaid, Opera... more

This is definitely a budget hotel, but a bargain for what you get and the location can't be beat. My single room was very small, but this is typical for hotels in Europe. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. I am a light sleeper, but my room overlooking the harbor was quiet at night, even with... more

Stayed 3 nights in a 2 twin bed room. Very basic room but clean and comfortable. Had a side view of the canal on 3rd floor. Rooms are not large but large enough for 2 guys staying in the room. Bathrooms are dated but clean (love that 70s tile motif!). Location is secure...locked after hours with night doorman. For location... more

My family of three adults stayed here for 3 nights. We stayed in a front corner room with large windows on both sides overlooking the Nyhavn Canal. The view was gorgeous!!!!! The room was very large, even with the third person sleeping on the fold-out sleeper sofa. I'm not sure about a/c; we were very comfortable with the windows open... more

We stayed at the hotel for a week in April while visiting our daughter. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants of Nyhavn, the Metro, the Stroll, water taxi etc... We walked everywhere and when we needed to take a bus to the national stadium the stop was within a block. We had a corner room that overlooked the... more
