This guest house is funny place in the heart of Amager. The price is about 60 Euros so it is cheap for Copenhagen. The bar downtairs is typical for Amager with "special" locals sitting and smoking, playing cards and beiing Danish. I read previous reviews, took the nay-sayers with a grain of salt, and booked a room for three of us. Good value hotel, although a 20 min walk to ströget. We stayed for two nights and breakfast was included in the price. Room was clean and cozy with high ceiling and big windows. Clean, updated rooms in a very old hotel. Conveniently located; safe. Five minute bus ride to Tivoli Gardens, train station, Nyhavn, etc.; very friendly and helpful people; breakfast consisted of fresh coffee, fresh bread, delicious cheeses and cold cuts, jams, cereals, juice.
