I'd describe this hotel is a hostel with separate rooms. The most important issue was poorly organized check in process. It almost left me stranded, even though I had a prepaid reservation. If you plan to check in after 5 pm (or so), you ABSOLUTELY must have a phone capable of making regular phone calls (not whatsapp/other data voise calls) in Denmark. The hotel is staffed only during the day (smth like 8-17 or so) and after 5 pm you can only check in remotely. The hotel never informed me about this process in advance. They do not have a simply city phone outside of the entrance to call customer service. Neither do they accept whatsapp calls, which is kind of amazing. My attempt to reach customer service by email failed--the message bounced back. I only managed to check in by serendipity, thanks to a help of a stranger, who let me make a local call. Not letting guests know about this process in advance and not having whatsapp enabled almost led to a very serious problem for me and for anyone with the phone not operating on Danish networks. It escapes me why wouldn't they accept whatsapp, inform guests in advance, or just place a simple local phone at the door to make it easy to reach customer service. These simple steps could prevent a very serious and completely avoidable problem for their guests. On the positive side--the location is good. Easily reachable by metro from the airport (20 mins). Quiet street. Bars/restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is NOT near the railway station--as some of the past reviews say. Those reviewers must be confusing this establishment with something else.

Very central to the train station Very much that first night I couldn’t sleep. Felt as though I was right over the station Extremely noisy 2nd night we asked to be moved the other side of the hotel (car park side) Lots of refurbishment going on Which didn’t help We were on the 3rd floor at the train line side and a lift was needed to get to our room ( then thank goodness we were moved as the lift broke ) Breakfast was over the road in a restaurant ( basic continental breakfast ) And NO toaster which I couldn’t believe. Doesn’t every hotel like toast obv not Lots of dust under foot poor cleaners don’t think they could keep up with it Had a bath in our first room Only to find the only way to fill it was from the shower ?? Weird Sorry but won’t be returning. Although Copenhagen was a beautiful place

This is a no frills hotel. There are shared bathrooms. It's a budget hotel if you don't mind sharing bathrooms but are too old for a hostel form room!! The bed is comfy. There was a sink and TV in my room. Security is good, and it is based in a quiet area close to some lovely bars and cafes and the Islands Brygge metro. Just 20min leisurely walk into the main centre of Tivoli, national museum, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this if you don't need anything other than a sink and a comfy bed to explore Copenhagen.

This is the most rubbish I've tried at a hotel not service minded at all. I book a room with queen bed and my friend does the same after me. We arrive at the hotel I check in first with the girl at the counter and pay everything well so far. Get up to the floor and find that I have been given a room with 2 single beds turn around and go down to get it fixed. Get down to the girl again that then tells me it's not possible the get the room I requested and it's not possible to get a refund without a cause. She tells me it only a request and they declined it that is I get the email 13 mins. With the declination after I've paid and complained. To rub salt in the wound with the service my friend that did everything after me got the right room. Stay away they're scammer!!! And of cause you'll get picture documentation.

Not very well cleaned. Very noisy, hearing everything from outside the door and road. No bathroom or shower in the room. Super tiny TV screen. The good is that the personnel are nice and kind. Not recommended.

Me and my girlfriend paid 2000 danish kroner(around 250 dollars) for 2 nights and i am shocked! That was not money well spent please find any other hotel or even hostel to stay at in copenhagen hostels are at least clean! At least all the ones that i have been to. The room was very small the toilets(dirty) and the shower(very dirty) was shared with 3 other rooms there was no airconditons in the rooms and the ones in the shower and toilet was so dirty that it was hard to breathe! Please belive me when i say do not go to this hotel! Please find some place else to sleep it was impossible to sleep with the window closed and with it open was very hard alot of noise from the streets o ye dont take the buffet horrible everything in this hotel is bad trust i warn you again do not sleep at this hotel overpriced dirty small room no aircondition no wifi nothing is included with the 2000 dkk they make you pay i will rather go to a hostel then ever stepping into that hotel again! I thought the hotel would be not that good but it turned out differently. It has private parking for your car, is located close to the river and the area is very nice and calm. The rooms are indeed small but in the end all you do there is sleeping so it doesbt matter at all. Friendly and very beautiful staff.

We didn't read the reviews before booking, maybe we should have! The rooms fitted a double bed-just a wardrobe and a sink. The shared toilet and shower were a bit of a surprise as I didn't expect two per floor of 6 rooms, and even though they weren't dirty they weren't exceptionally clean either! Our bed was clean, and so was the bedding and the towels. The floor was generally clean, although after reading the reviews we decided to not look very closely at things! Although there was a long black hair attached to one of the coat hangers (that we didn't use!) We didn't pay for breakfast, and we are glad! The buffet breakfast was a bit sparse! We did however, pay 15DKK each for take out coffee, and then found cinnamon rolls from the 7/11 for 29DKK for 2 to eat for breakfast. We stayed for two nights only because it was just the two of us, if the kids had been with us we wouldn't have stayed at all. You have to remember that this is a 2* hotel, but, the price was £109 per night which I feel is a lot for this kind of hotel. However, Copenhagen is an expensive city and if people pay it they will continue to charge it. We wouldn't stay there again- look for a more expensive hotel with better reviews!

We stayed for 2 nights in August 2018 with our two young daughters. Booked well in advance and paid when we arrived. Bunk beds and a double bed. Good space, bathroom a great size and my daughters thought it was very cool. We were 403 on the 4th floor. So street views. Islands Brygge is a great location and the neighbourhood is lovely. Great coffee shops and eateries. The downside is that the apartments are just unclean. Wooden floors that leave your bare feet black. Dust everywhere. Limescale on all the bathroom areas. I booked it as it had cooking facilities. Yes we are breakfast, cereal. But the kitchen area, sink, fridge, two ring hob and a kettle were filthy. I had to use a baby wipe on the exterior of the kettle. In hindsight I should have booked a hotel and just eaten out. Such a shame. Funny as when we arrived at 13:30 we were unable to check in as the room had not been cleaned! Hilarious really. On a last note the towels were ok but pillows were dreadful. Cost £409 for two nights 😭

The location is excellent, near the old city and center, you can reach many attractions on foot. The Hotel is located in a relatively calm street. The staff are nice enough, they do their job professionally, with minimum contact with guests. Free Wifi in the room and worked well.I would recommend the hotel. But there are some disadvantages: cleanliness of rooms is an issue, not the best quality but acceptable. Parking is limited and free in the hotel, so if you didn't catch it, you will park on the street & it costs more than expected.
