Not nice people who work on reception. If you stay in the hostel, you're made to hoover and mop your own room when you leave (?) I've stayed in many hostels but what!? That makes no sense. There were 20 of us in the kitchen at 730 and the woman came in and shouted that we needed to be cleaned... More

Many broken things. No oven. Lights off in the kitchen at 20:00. Water dripping in a bucket in the corridor. Hard to find gloomier. Good location if you want to be in kiruna centre. Good velue as we booked in advance a private room for 500 sek for 2/ night.

When I booked a single room in this hotel, I wasn't really aware that it was also a hostel (maybe I could have saved a few euros). But this gave me the chance to use the kitchen, which was crowded and not that clean. The single room was very big, with a comfortable bed. But the toilet was rather small... More

The hotel is slap bang in the centre so convenient for all things. Rooms rather spartan looking but comfortable and clean. There are two sides, hotel and hostel. We stayed in the hotel part which is a bit more expensive of course, but worth the value for money. The staff are helpful. They let me use the phone to call... More

Second stay in Kiruna have chosen Hotell City, really close to the Kiruna Church. Clean good value hotel staff are friendly and the location is not to hard to find. Thai restaurant downstairs is easy to get to without having to go out into the snow which is handy. Good wireless even in the rooms which is unusual. All round... More

The rooms are basic and clean with great wireless free throughout. Kitchen is useful. However facilities shut too early in the summer months when people are out late with summer sun. Cleaning staff are miserable but unless you request cleaning you are left alone. Close to town but the town is bleak with little too see.

This place has two sides, we stayed in the 'Hostel' side in a 'Twin' room. It had a sink, wardrobe, 2x single beds, table, chairs and TV. The 2x showers and 2x toilets were down the hall. Well equipt Kitchen downstairs. Free wifi. Stayed 1 night when we arrived in Kiruna. Close to everything, central and a little more expensive... More

As others have said, Hotell City is both a hotel and a hostel, and for the minimal additional price I went for the hotel option, so unfortunately I'm not able to comment on the hostel rooms. The hotel room we had was reasonably sized and clean, the shower was lovely and we had a large TV mounted on the wall.... More

"Ok, I should have imagine it", I thought as I entered in my room. It was dirty and there was no bed linen (though I had asked for it, as they offered me for some extra crowns). The atmosphere of the whole hotel is awful. There are some drunk people wandering at night, the toilet was dreadful with vomit, and... More

This is a combined hotel and hostel. We stayed in the hotel part since the price difference was very small. We had a large family room with a double bed, a sofa bed and an extra bed. There was a kitchen table with 4 chairs, a large TV and small fridge. The room was conviniently located right outside of the... More
