Many broken things. No oven. Lights off in the kitchen at 20:00. Water dripping in a bucket in the corridor. Hard to find gloomier. Good location if you want to be in kiruna centre. Good velue as we booked in advance a private room for 500 sek for 2/ night.

Second stay in Kiruna have chosen Hotell City, really close to the Kiruna Church. Clean good value hotel staff are friendly and the location is not to hard to find. The rooms are basic and clean with great wireless free throughout. Kitchen is useful. However facilities shut too early in the summer months when people are out late with summer sun. Cleaning staff are miserable but unless you request cleaning you are left alone. Close to town but the town is bleak with little too see.

As others have said, Hotell City is both a hotel and a hostel, and for the minimal additional price I went for the hotel option, so unfortunately I'm not able to comment on the hostel rooms.
