I stood at the Dragonen hotel for a short two day trip to Umea in June 2007. The hotel is nicely located in downtown Umea and easy and convenient to find. Underneath there is a parking garage - you probably will arrive by car there. So parking is easy. The rooms look old facion, but are clean and for the price they are ok. No big comfort more than an old youth hostle. But staff is very friednly and helpful. You even have free wireless internet access from your room - only ask for a code at the reception. The breakfast was typical Swedesh - enough and good quality but nothing special. Would I go there again - why not. But there are also other hotels at Umea which I will try the next time.
