We stayed at this hotel after a day checking out the nearby glassworks to the west. The location, near the Kalmar Castle, couldn't be beat. Lovely, quiet location with charming rooms filled with antiques. One of the best places we stayed at. Left some clothing behind and the staff sent out a box immediately to our next stop off. Saved us a lot of trouble. You cannot go wrong staying at this charming place right near the castle. more

We stayed there one night during our summer vacation in Sweden. Our Room was nice, clean and "individual". Service was friendly, food and breakfirst also very good. Hotel is in walking distance very nearby the Kalmar castle. And the house and place itself is very nice with some tasteful public rooms, some small balconies and a terasse in the courtyard.... more

The setting for this hotel was magnificent, right next to a park and within walking distance of the Kalmar Castle. The breakfast and the service were great.
