We stopped in Vaxjo to check out the House of Emigrants and I'm glad we only stayed one night. The place was okay but very basic. Staff was nice enough, and it was fairly convenient for our needs but we were delighted to get onto the Stockholm bound train the next morning! more

First impression was not very good. The large reception and lobby area reminded me more of a hospital waiting area. I had a single room on the 3rd floor. Staying one week in this hotel before starting the university was a great choice. Nice (swedish style) staff. Wireless internet only available in common areas. Nice indoor self-heated pool and jacuzzi. Very, very good location. Free cofee. Very good breakfast. Wonderful area. Barganing available by phone, not common in Sweden but we achivied 40% off (portuguese barganing power!...). more
