Our first room stank of cigeret smoke in the bathroom, but we quickly recieved a new room, which had better view over the lake. Nice beds, enjoyed the bathtub and the pool downstairs. Location is great. Exterior/interior design and furniture was quite dated.

Nice hotel in the heart of Stockholm. Two minutes walk from Central Station and trains from Arlanda Express. Very friendly staff at the reception and helped us really nicely..hotel with amazing breakfast. Though I felt rooms were priced high. Definitely will come back and stay again. Perfect for business and conference work.business class rooms not upto the mark with terrible wifi (you cant use the wifi in your rooms at all)and room service.

The Royal Viking Hotel, at the foot of the Train Station is a joke. The surrounding area, near the underground is seedy, sidewalk-cigarettes butts seem like land mines, helpless homeless begging for hand-outs and a filthy front entry. This hotel is next to the central station, lots of eating places and shops around. However, the room was quite small and there's a really old feel to it. I suppose it's up to individual what they are looking for, but i would say it provides a comfortable stay
