The hotel is in a great location and reception desk (especially the man not the woman) is very helpful but the room I stayed was very small, toilet and shower were in the same tiny place. The room looks dirty and the rug in the room wasn't clean. Food options for breakfast was very limited.

I booked a hotel room in Stockholm very late, and got a great deal on Esplanade through Hotels.com. The hotel is simple, furniture and decor is quite old, but it seems clean and cosy in a way. It's also placed VERY central. The breakfast was perfect to my taste. Will stay there again, no doubt.

The reception was dark, dingy and cold. The room was dirty, the floors were almost black, the door knobs were broken, there was no escalator, the bathroom was the size of a coat closet, there was no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so if you took a shower the water would wet the entire bathroom...
