The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the royal palace and right in amongst the picturesque streets and squares of the Old Town. The rooms are quite small, but skilfully designed, and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is full of interesting knick-knacks, some bordering on kitsch, and the decor is pleasant. The buffet breakfast is... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a triple room at this lovely hotel (two adults and one toddler). The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and quiet. The room was very warm (we could regulate the heat ourselves) with heated bathroom tiles and lovely duvets. We paid extra for the breakfast both days - it was very nice. The... more

I would rate this hotel 5 for the location and because it is nice and cosy. On the other hand I would rate it 3 beacause the rooms are a bit tired and the bathroom is, well....outdated. I have uploaded pictures from the hotel, which tells the story. The hotel is perfect from a tourist point of view, very central... more

We just stayed 3 nights at the LH in a family room at the top of the hotel. It had a small adjacent room with a twin bed. Note that only the top floor has A/C (although we did not need it, it was nice to close the windows to the noise below). Our friends stayed in the family room... more

This charmingly quaint hotel is family run and has an air of individuality about it. There are lots of antiques and curios scattered around the place, giving it a cosy, homely feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was traditionally swedish; gradvalax, reindeer sausage and caviar, as well as the usuals such as scrambled eggs, muesli and fruit.... more

Folks, take the reviews on this hotel with a pinch of salt. I just came back from the Lady Hamilton, located in Gamla Stan, the Old Town of Stockholm. First, some facts: it is "the narrowest hotel in Stockholm", and potentially the world, which means the rooms are small. The first one they put me in had a postage-stamp-sized TV... more

I stayed at the hotel for a short weekend getaway and overall I was quite satisfied with the experience. The hotel is an old building in the old town of Stockholm near Gamla Stan underground station and it is so close to the King's Palace that the guards literally walk by the hotel on their route. Due to the age... more

Me and the missus loved the Lady Hamilton. For those with historical interests its located in the Old Town in Stockholm and you just have to step out of the door to be surrounded by historical places. I suggest reading up alittle on the older history of Stockholm and then explore the streets outside the hotel. The staff is very... more

+ 1) Fantastic location, in a little gorgeous street of the Old Town. this is probably unbeatable in Stockholm. 2) Decorations, truly fascinating. 3) Bathroom almost bigger than room itself, very modern. 4) Very quiet. 5) Private Sauna, very very relaxing experience. Bring your favourite chilled CD! - 1) Tiny rooms. I mean really tiny. 2) Pricy. I got a... more

The Lady Hamilton in the heart of the Old Town offers, great location, abundant charm and excellent value. We stayed in the Hotel 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the room, the service and the experience. We had room 40 which was spacious with a 2nd room ideal for an accompanying child. A treat not to be missed is dinner at... more
