Location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is located in a treed area right next to the Skanzen and the Luna Park, very close to the water, a few minute walk from Vasa Museum and downtown too but without the usual annoying things of a big city. You can reach downtown by walking, by bus, by tram, but my advise... more

My mother and I recently took our first trip to Stockholm. We combed the TripAdvisor reviews for months before we chose a hotel. We're from Texas (where everything is bigger!), so we had big expectations and did not want a cramped room. We were so delighted with our choice! This hotel is located in a quiet area with trees and... more

This is a very child-friendly hotel with highchairs, cots, child buffet dinner and a small child's play room. The buffet breakfast is very good, and the hotel rooms have internet access. The hotel is also well-located for Skansen, the Vasa Museum and Junibacken - all interesting venues for kids. If you want to see more of Stockholm the bus line... more

We stayed here for one night on our roadtrip of Scandinavia. When we drew up outside, we weren't initially impressed even though the hotel is set in the lovely green lush island of Djurgarden, surrounded by museums and interesting buildings. However once parked in the hotel's underground car park, and efficiently checked in, the true beauty and luxury of this... more

Stayed at the Scandic Hasselbacken for 4 nights in August. had a double and a single connecting room at a very good rate. We had been upgraded to a superior room but weren't told until check out . The rooms were spacious and clean. Not much of a view but we only went to the room to change and sleep.... more

Very good hotel on Djurgarden, near Skansen and Vasamuseum. It is a bit outside the city, but can easily be reached in ten minutes max using bus line 47 from main station or tram. Rooms are huge, clean, and well equiped. There is an internal playground nearby the restaurant. Breakfast is served on a spacious terasse with garden/Stockholm view. If... more

My daughter and I stayed there for one night. We had a spacious superior room. It didn't have much of a view, though. Since we arrived late, this didn't matter much. Beware that the restaurant closes at 10pm and you'll have to get your dinner at Gröna Lund Tivoli after that (which I'd recommend anyway!). The bathroom looked a little... more

It was our first trip to Stockholm, but we have family there, and they greatly approved of our hotel’s location. We arrived by ferry from Helsinki, and a bus can take you to the island in 10 minutes or less. A cab to the airport was 350 SEK and you need about 35 minutes to get there. The island of... more

We are now back from a lovely holiday in Stockholm. Stayed for 2 nights at Scandic Hasselbacken and we loved the hotel. Definitly the best hotel we ever stayed at in Stockholm (have before stayed at Ariadne and Sergel Plaza). We found ourselves to have a spacious family room (view to the Circus) and even if it was 25-30 degrees... more
