Just think, staying in the middle of Stockholm, Sweden. One problem, Stockholm, is one of the most expensive cities in the world! Not to worry, we can solve that problem. Why not stay on the Af Chapman, a floating 1800s ship docked in the middle of this beautiful city. At $60 per night, (in May,) you may want to book... More

What a wonderfull location ! Wouldn't dream of sleeping anywhere else than on the Chapman while visiting Stockholm. We had a room in front of the ship, windows at both sides . Very good matrasses, we slept very well. The breakfast was great, all kinds of food and à gogo.... On of the best places i ever had !

The location is fantastic and the views amazing. Sleeping on a tall ship is a quirky and exciting experience. The rooms were clean and the washing facilities excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast generous BUT however you dress it up sleeping in a six bedded cabin with strangers is not ideal. Worth upgrading to get some privacy... More

For a hostel, this is definitely a 5-star. First, the basics. The hostel is incredibly clean, well run, and organized. The people at the front desk are efficient and knowledgeable (this is often lacking in hostels). Life on the boat was quite comfortable. The rooms are smaller but definitely worth it for the experience. Plus, it's just fun to say... More

OK, if the room we stayed in was on land, it would be considered "basic", but it was on a boat, so it was awesome! The room had a sink/mirror, desk, closet, and bunk beds. There are shared bathroom and shower rooms. The room was very clean and comfortable. The rates were reasonable, considering how expensive everything in Stockholm is.... More

When we originally booked, the site was being updated, so we didn't realise we had booked a room on land. The receptionist was very helpful, and managed to transfer us over to the boat, into a better room than the one we had seen on the site. Also, because we were clearly confused by all the forms, he allowed us... More

Location, location, location! It was already a marvel to be staying in a historical ship with masts. The ship is docked across the Old Town and across the cityscape that you usually take pictures of. One can sit on the deck and just be overwhelmed by the sight of Stockholm. I was ecstatic just to be there. Security I think... More

We stayed here in July of 2012. We loved it! We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. The ship was magnificent. We sat up on the deck at night and had a chance to mingle with other guests. The view from the deck of the city was awesome. We walked to all the museums , it's very... More

This is the best place to have a cup of coffee and a glass of wine on a sunny day. I have not seen the accommodation but the boat and the staff are really nice. we did try the food few times....and the grill is excellent but the salad bar is ok. Love the view of Gamla Stan and fancy... More
